Our Commitment To You: At Abby's Gold and Gems it is with great pride and integrity that we exceed our customers' expectations in service and value. Our commitment is to offer knowledgeable, friendly service and provide the finest quality jewelry at the best price.

Exchanges and Returns: Abby's Gold and Gems exists to satisfy our customers. Unless otherwise specified below, your purchase from our in-stock inventory may be exchanged or refunded within 30 days from the original purchase date by the original client when accompanied by the sales receipt. Store credit maybe permitted after 30 days of purchase. The item must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and in the original gift box, with all warranty cards and explanation booklets intact. Sales items, Special orders, completed layaways, modified and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable.  Gifts recipients will be issued a merchandise credit only. Gift certificates/cards are not redeemable for cash.

Special Orders: Because a Special Order is generated by you FOR you exclusively and not intended to be stocked by Abby's we regret that Special Orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made. Special Orders require a 25% non-refundable deposit. A Special Order includes any jewelry, gemstone, watch or gift item ordered or altered at the clients request.

Custom Work: Custom designed jewelry involves metal, gems and labor furnished by Abby's for a specific client. As such, all custom jewelry is nonrefundable, and requires a 24% nonrefundable deposit before the work begins. Every effort is made by Abby's to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the clients' complete satisfaction. Minor adjustments such as ring sizing or texturing, will gladly be made by Abby's to accommodate the wearer at either a modest fee or at no charge depending on the extent of the work involved.

Layaway Policy: Articles may be placed on Layaway for a maximum of 90 days from the date of deposit, wit a minimum deposit of 25%. In consideration of this merchandise being set aside for you. Upon signing the layaway policy you agree to make 3 monthly payments in equal amounts as agreed upon by Abby's Gold and Gems. Completed layaways re not returnable or exchangeable. Layaways cancelled after 30 days from purchase date are subject to a 25% restocking fee and any costs incurred on the layaway. After 90 days from date of purchase if layaway is not paid in full the layaway may be considered void and merchandise returned to stock and deposit forfeited.

Re-stocking Fee: Solely at Abby's discretion a return of merchandise of any type may be accepted for return beyond the agreed upon terms and conditions under special circumstances. In this even a 25% re-stocking fee will be charged on the original amount of the sale and any costs incurred such as alteration, setting, sizing, shipping etc.

Diamond Disclosure: The diamonds in all Abby's pieces have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflict in compliance with the United Nations resolutions. Abby's hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by the supplier of these diamonds.

Warranty Policy: Abby's offers an unconditional one-year warranty on any fine jewelry made of gold, silver or platinum containing gemstones or diamonds, with exception for abuse or neglect of the jewelry. This is Abby's warranty above and beyond any implied manufacturer warranty. Manufacturer's written warranties are also honored to the fullest extent. Abby's may or may not warranty any non-precious jewelry made of base metals with or without stones depending on the age of the item, evidence of abuse or neglect and availability. Abby's primary interest is to satisfy our customer and to that extent Abby's will replace or repair warranted merchandise at Abby's cost.

Colored Gemstone Enhancement Disclosure: Purchases of colored gemstones should be aware that natural gemstones are processed from the time they are extracted from the earth by one or more traditionally accepted trade practices. All colored gemstones listed on a sales receipt have probably been subjected to a stable and possible undetectable enhancement process. All relevant information will be readily provided to the best of our knowledge.

Abby's Gold and Gems is not responsible for altered gemstones left for repair, custom design or appraisal. Prevailing market values are based on these universally practiced and accepted processes by the gem and jewelry trade.

Service and Cleaning: We will clean and inspect your jewelry purchased at Abby's Gold and Gems free of charge for a lifetime. We recommend this be done at least twice a year. Abby's recommends you follow all instructions listed on commercial cleaners given to or purchased by you.

Abby's Gold and Gems is not responsible for altered gemstones left for repair, custom design or appraisal. this includes by is not limited to, Diamonds, Semi-precious Gems or false stamping on metal goods, which may be misrepresented. We will not be responsible for any article left fore more than 90 days. After 90 days of no payment activity or contact a repair, layaway or special order is considered abandoned and becomes the sole property of Abby's Gold and Gems.
