Most jewelers have a fairly biased opinion many determined by what THEY want to sell you.

This jeweler,Abby’s, wants to tell you what customers they have served what customers reveal about their decision making process.

Maybe this will help you to decide.

And it breaks down to some pretty simple issues.

First and foremost is the difference between Lab Grown and Natural diamonds.

Physically and elementally Lab and Natural diamonds are the same.

Secondly, and often most importantly-cost. Lab diamonds can cost anywhere between 10% to 50% of what a natural diamond costs. That’s a huge consideration when getting engaged for young people just starting out in life.

What with housing costs, the cost of a wedding and everyday expenses the big dollars spent on a natural diamond can be a serious trade off.

Lastly, we hear customers discuss what we can call the “pride of ownership’ issue. Some people think buying a lab diamond is something “less than”.meaning less important or valuable than a natural diamond.

In fact it is almost always a better looking diamond by far than a Natural diamond and for the dollars spent Lab diamonds will almost always be much bigger than a Natural diamond.

So what it boils down to is what is most important to you and your fiancee.

Once you can feel comfortable with knowing what these issues are the more you can be comfortable with your final decision whether to buy a Lab Grown diamond or a Natural diamond.

One thing for sure when deciding -make sure you do what will make both of you happy with the most important purchase of your new life together.
